From the Amazon to the Atlantic, these apps were built in a truly diverse Brazil. The Academies span Manaus in the heart of the rainforest; the Northeast coast in Fortaleza and Recife; the modernist capital Brasília; the southern innovation hubs Curitiba and Porto Alegre; the inland R&D corridor Campinas; the iconic coastal city Rio de Janeiro; and the megacity São Paulo—home to two academies (Mackenzie and Senac). Together they reflect different cultures, climates, and economies—exactly the kind of variety that inspires apps with real-world impact.

These apps were created as part of the learners’ Final Challenge, after spending two years learning to code, design, collaborate, and build. In six intense months, learners at the Apple Developer Academies in Brazil turned real problems into elegant apps—teaching kids about money, helping flat-mates stay organised, creating rich game worlds, and even using AI to check food safety for non-dairy diets.
